The 16th CNRIA, hosted by the École Polytechnique de Thiès (EPT), invites participants to experience the scientific and cultural richness of Senegal.

Conference Location (Venue)

All scientific activities, including presentations, poster sessions, and keynote speeches, will take place on the campus of the École Polytechnique de Thiès (EPT).

The EPT, a leading engineering institution in West Africa, provides state-of-the-art facilities and a stimulating academic environment, ideal for fostering research and collaboration.

Discover Thiès

Known as the « City of Rail, » This is the second-largest economic center of Senegal. Located only 70 km from Dakar, it offers a more relaxed atmosphere while being rich in culture and history. Participants will enjoy the city’s famous tapestries, bustling craft markets, and its unique blend of colonial architecture and modern Senegalese life.

Travel & logistics

Arriving by Air

The primary gateway to Senegal is the Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS).

  • Distance: The airport is conveniently located approximately 40 minutes (35 km) from Thiès via the toll highway.
  • Transport: Dedicated conference shuttles, official taxis, and car rental services are available at the airport.
Visa Information

Senegal has a welcoming visa policy.

  • Citizens of ECOWAS countries do not require a visa.
  • Many European and North American citizens may also be exempt or can obtain an e-visa.
  • Please check the latest requirements at your nearest Senegalese consulate or the official government portal.
